Last week Patrick's Mom and Step-Dad were here for a visit. One day we went hiking in Ramsey Canyon. Here are some pics from it:

We also got to celebrate Andrew's 5th Birthday! What a big boy now. He starts school in the fall which he is really excited about. We live in a great school district (thankfully). His school is from grades k-8 and there are only about 20 kids per grade which is fantastic. I plan to get involved. Here are some pics from his party. It was a hotwheel's theme so I made a car cake. It was a huge hit.

Thanks! My mom always made special cakes for birthdays so I am trying to do it for my kids too. So far I have made a Castle Cake, a Carousel, A tea pot, A train, A safari cake, A flower, a princess, and a baby in a box. Who knows what will be next.
