Easter 2010

Here are some updated pictures of the kids from Easter. We have been busy with school and who knows what else. Somehow we keep busy :) Which is good. We have about 6 more weeks of school to get through and I am so blessed at how easily the year went. Next year Sarah will be in Kindergarden, so that will add a new dynamic, but already she does a lot with us so it won't change too much. It has been so much fun to see the kids learn and how easy it was to teach. It has been so much fun!

Here are the kids with their Easter Bonnets :) Or just Easter Dresses.

Andrew and his broken wrist. He did this 3 weeks ago just jumping up and down on the carpet. Somehow he fell and must have landed just wrong. I wasn't even sure it was broken, but we went in and got x-rays and sure enough. He had a couple of fractures in his wrist. Thankfully he gets his cast off this Thurs. and only had to have it on for 3 weeks.

I made these Twirl Skirts for the girls thanks to the idea from a friends blog. I didn't follow the instructions exactly. I added the ruffle at the bottom and didn't quilt all of it, but I just love how they came out. So cute! My next project will be these little clutch bags for the girls, and maybe for me. They seem easy enough. That link to the clutch bags also has a lot of other tutorial's on cute little dresses etc. Such fun!

Your skirts are too cute! Have you done the bags yet? They're SO adorable and easy to do :-). I'm thinking of modifying the pattern to make one for myself ... the opening is a little too small for adult hands & wallets ...
