Andrew's First Day of School

Andrew was off to Kindergarten yesterday. He was up at 6am dressed and ready to go. School didn't start until 8:45 though so we had plenty of time to eat breakfast and make sure he had a good lunch. He walked confidently into his classroom of 22 other students, put his backpack down at his marked seat and ran outside to play on the playground without even saying goodbye. I can have comfort in knowing that he is independent. After talking to his teacher, Mrs. Tipton, Sarah, Elizabeth and I went outside to say goodbye and leave Andrew at his first day of school.
