Fun Girl's Weekend Away

This weekend I had the joy of getting to see a dear college friend, Steph, who I spent 8 weeks with on a summer mission project overseas. That summer included many new experiences that bonded us together like nothing else can. There is something about enduring things that are way outside of your comfort zone that bring people together. We had a great time then, and a great time this weekend as well.

We met in Phoenix at the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort and had a great time catching up and floating around in their lazy river. Poor Steph though was sick Saturday and spent the day in bed which was slightly disappointing for her, but we still had a good time. It was good for me to have a break from the kids and have some time to myself where I didn't have to think about anyone else. Patrick survived the weekend alone with the kids and I came home to dishes done and the house clean which was even more of a blessing. Thanks Honey :)
